RE: Supplied Electrical Components

Electrical components (lights, harnesses, adapters, plugs, etc.) supplied in Omaha Standard installation kits are for the Omaha Standard, Inc. product only.

All wiring is sized according to the load put on it by our product alone. No additional lights or components should be added or spliced into the factory wiring harnesses—i.e., trailer tow plugs, additional lights. Overloading of the body wiring or truck wiring may occur if this is done. Components, which stop functioning properly from overloading, will not be covered by the warranty. Trucks should be ordered from the factory with appropriate trailer tow wiring harnesses installed if the unit is to be used for towing.
