EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHTS

Mark Thompson has been promoted to Profiling Supervisor.
His responsibilities include managing the profile area with goals including the
reduction of scrap and increasing profiling capacity with programs including Preventive
Maintenance and the implementation of the new laser software. Mark has successes in both
manufacturing and engineering positions he's previously held in cost reduction programs,
implementation of new processes incorporating lean manufacturing concepts and preventive
maintenance programs. He's worked in the automotive and aerospace industries for over 15
years with a continuous push for growth, continuous improvement and value for the customer.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Masters of Business
Administration, and served in the Air Force for ten years. This should all help him in the
challenges he faces at Omaha Standard as we carry on our continuous improvement journey.
